Pours a beautiful and clean crimson red, with a nice khaki foam cap that stays creamy on the surface and laces well. Not a ton going in in the aroma... Hints of bread, chocolate, roasted grain, coffee, and a spicy herbal finish. The flavor follows with a wonderful emphasis on the spicy rye. Feels easy, clean, and crisp with a soft start and smooth dry finish. The spice of the rye and Noble hops are just lovely. On a warm day, this is perfect. On a cold day, I'd imagine it being more perfect. If perfection can be perfected, that is. Prost!
