16 oz can from Brewers Haven. Dark golden, full foamy head. Dusty, musty grainy aroma. Taste features dry malts, bread, earthy hops at the finish. Pretty accurate.

Can from New Seasons. Canned 27 May.
A clear light copper with a dense , white head that falls off rapidly, this looks solid. The nose is quite potently hoppy, almost Pils like, with a really nice, rich, deep Munich and Vienna malt character, rich and bready. Not as rustic as others, though still with a nice, raw, dough note. The palate opens with a really nice blend of bitterness and doughy bread notes. Flavors of Vienna and Munich malt feature prominently here, and coupled with the hippiness, it borders on a Marzen, but I'm not complaining. A blend of doughy sweetness and a moderate bitterness are present on the mid palate, with a creamy, mildly minty flavor. Initially harsh and a little metallic on the finish, letting this sit in the glass allows this to soften up some. Mildly sweet with a nice, rich, bready flavor on the finish, this is quite impressive. This isn't true to style IMO, but is still a tasty beer worthy of a 9th anniversary beer and definitely living up to its name.

Poured from a 16-ounce can (filled on 5/27/20) into a nonic half-pint.
Occidental brewed this kellerbier for their 9th anniversary, using only the ingredients available in their current inventory. Hence the name "Speisekammer," which means "pantry" in German.
Look:
It is bright gold and slightly hazy, and had a luscious head of snowy white foam up top with the first pour.
Smell:
Nose is clean and sweet, full of bready, malty goodness with some herbal/floral hops providing backup.
Taste:
Starts with malt sweetness that dries out nicely by the end. Finishes with a tasty medium bitterness that lingers. There are also hints of cashews and herbal hops through the middle.
Feel:
The body is medium, the mouthfeel is creamy, and the carbonation is soft. Lovely.
Overall:
A fine example of the style, and a most enjoyable beer. Pairs well with a breezy spring evening on the patio.
