Look: Super murky, amber in color leaning towards brown with a nice, off-white head that is lingering well
Aroma: Warm wheat bread, clove, slight banana notes, a little bubblegum, and some fruity esters as well
Taste: Follows nose but much more pronounced throughout. Wheat/clove/banana are the main event with some bubblegum and slight fruitiness in the background. Very soft near the finish but closes without a heavy or cloying tax on the palate
Mouthfeel: Soft and silky – leaning towards viscous but not enough to keep from being a little refreshing still. Medium carbonation and a soft finish
Overall: I’m digging this one. I love this style and didn’t know these folks made one but it was a nice surprise to find it on draft. Hits all the right weizenbock notes for me and actually, with the lower-than-expected ABV, is not as heavy of a beer as others that I have had. Delicious stuff and totally my kind of murkbomb
