Can from Market of Choice.
A very dark brown with a dense , beige head with great retention and lacing, this looks solid. The nose is a wonderful soft, toasty, mildly caramel like, mildly bready with a wonderful, soft toast character present. Faint lemony hops. Soft and creamy. Excellent! The palate opens with a soft, toasted malt character with a blend of caramel, bread and light toffee/ burnt sugar. Impossibly light, soft, creamy and airy on the palate. Firm, earthy hops are present on the finish, lending a pleasant counter to the otherwise soft and creamy mouthfeel. Delectable.

16oz can from Brewers Haven. Dark, clear brown , thin soft beige head, streaky lacing. Aroma is light roast, nutty. Taste brings a touch of sweetness to the dark malts. Gentle dry, bitterness. Great example of the style.
