Canned 4/19. Nice floral aroma rises from a well-carbonated pour, but with no real head to speak of, alas. Taste is quite dry, plenty of bitterness. The fruit taste carries over well and makes for a refreshing beer on a warm day, the modest 6.0% helps a lot. For a first go at an an IPA, they pretty much nailed the WCIPA style, just need to keep upping the taste / hop balance to move up in a crowded field.

16oz can from Brewers Haven. Clear golden pour, patchy foamy head with ring. Malty, bready aroma, light sweetness. Taste follows with a malt-forward profile, light hoppy notes, tropical, floral. A fitting first foray for Occidental into non-Rheinheitsgebot brewing.
