Look: Clear straw yellow with a fizzy white head that rapidly builds and settles to a lid, leaving good lacing behind
Aroma: Straw, navel orange, some kumquat, pilsner malt, lemon-lime, herbal notes, and soda crackers
Taste: Orange-led citrus with a little lemon-lime kicker starts it off and linger for a moment before pilsner malt enters the scene. Herbal notes are abound in the middle along with grass and straw before orange returns on the close
Mouthfeel: Light but full, clean, medium-high carbonation, and very lightly dry on the finish
Overall: I dig it. A tasty and well-made pilsner with a unique hop bill that translates into an equally unique aroma/flavor throughout. I like both of these breweries and the idea behind this rotating collaboration Pilsner series so I’m always down to try a new one and this is another good one
