This started off as a bad imperial ipa, but the taste mellows out half way thru the bottle. Btw I had a 22 oz bomber. Ok beer tho I probably won't run back to but I respect the carft

Attractive appearance in the wine glass with whipped cream density of the head after the big foam-up. Orange amber color with rising bubbles. Plastic and wet cardboard smell, however.
Well, now we know that the odd sourness noted by the previous reviewer eight months ago was the greeting card of some sort of bacteria. This doesn't taste exactly spoiled, as it is more sweet than sour. It does, however, have that unpleasant chemical bitterness as well as such a peculiar orange juice taste.
This looks lovely, the carbonated mouthfeel is fine, It just makes me want to spit it out, and it gets worse after a few hesitant sips. The bitterness just digs into your tongue. From the 22 oz bottle at Boulevard LIquors in San Diego, which is full of suspiciously odd stuff like this.

On tap at Old Orange Brewing Company in Orange, CA.
Pours a clear orange with a foamy khaki head that settles to a film on top of the beer. Small dots of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of malt, citrus zest, and herbal hops. Taste is much the same with a slightly sour flavor on the finish. There is a medium amount of hop bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is an above average beer but the sourness in the flavor is odd.

I brought some friends in to OOB and we enjoyed a flight of all 5 beers and a couple of pints, and the Cannonball IPA was a huge hit! I loved the hop aroma and felt it was a well balanced IPA wihout being overpowering. The amber color was nice and clear eventhough it's an unflitered beer.

On-tap at Old Orange
A: The pour is an orange-amber color with a big white head that settles down to a thin layer.
S: The first thought after smelling this beer is lemon Pine Sol. There’s also some butter, popcorn, and bread. The hop notes consist of mild grapefruit and orange rind with a hint of sweet fruits.
T: Very buttery flavor with more of the Lemon Pine Sol. Plenty of lemon juice and lemon rind in addition to the popcorn and bread. I really struggle to find any flavors that I find enjoyable. The high carbonation only exacerbates the problem.
M: The body is medium with a very high level of carbonation.
O: I will not be having this beer again any time soon.
