Nearly solid black in color with dots of lace hanging around the glass. Who wants to guess what's in the nose? Well, it could be much better, but I've also had worse. Take molasses and add a little cola to it.
Several notes of flavors come forward, but come out in an "uneven" way. Brown sugar hits first, then comes a wave of molasses, which then dies out and out comes some astringent roast. The flavor of bittering chocolate finishes uop the flavor. It's closer to be light bodied than medium bodied.
Not the most positive experience for me. I'll pass.
