Dark, near black with a flicker of foam in the Rodenbach Grand Cru goblet. Woody, fruity nose. Dark caramel. Very malty. Burnt sugar and burnt oatmeal. Canned peaches with scorched fruitcake. Thickish mouthfeel and not very lively on the tongue.
Sweet and very fruity. Maybe it's the suggestion of the name but it does taste like orange marmalade with a dose of bitters. Bitter aftertaste with something like grape seeds and the astringent stems. Everything suffers by comparison with the Epic Baptist I had last night. From the 22 oz bottle.

Thanks to JLindros for sharing.
A - Poured into a Kate the Great tulip a nice dark brown almost black with a thin mocha head that fades to leave white wisps.
S - Aromas of light caramel, faint chocolate, solid roast, lighter dark fruits.
T - Taste is similar to the nose. Oddly vegative, lots of roasted malts. This isn't a ris.
M - Mouthfeel is lightly carbonated, slick, really sub par.
O - Overall this was a very poor beer. A complete mess.

Little fizzy dark head fades instantly, long legs, pitch black beer.
Nose some Dutch chocolate, dark cocoa, little char and burnt caramel, touch fudgey, old coffee, burnt milk
Taste brings big note creme Brule, burnt caramel and milk, creamy lactose, little powdered cocoa, into bitter spicy hops, big spicy hops and bitter roast, no fruit, lots of roasted burnt malts and bitter hops, that's about it. Finish dry sticky syrupy, little booze warmth, spicy hop, etc
Mouth is thicker decent carb, hint booze.
Overall meh, not so great.

Poured from a bomber from a local grocery. Black with a tan head. Like others said the nose isn't what you expect from an imperial stout. Lots of subtle chocolate, malt, and fruity notes. One of the better beers I have had in recent memory. This is a stout with a super smooth finish. Didn't taste much alcohol on the finish which is surprising as the 11.2 ABV suggests a harsher finish. Ends with on a mild finish which is great considering the flavors from the start. Was expecting another harsh harsh stout. Loving this style now!

Pours black in color with a dense tan head. The nose isn’t terribly typical of an imperial stout. Very sweet and fruity. Some raisin, plum, and some molasses and brown sugar sweetness. A bit watery, and a touch of alcohol. The flavor is amazing, what a true imperial stout should taste like. Roasted malt, a touch of chocolate, alcohol, and dark fruit sweetness. Mild alcohol and ash on the finish.

Poured from a Bomber into a Stone tulip.
L- Perfect. Exactly like it should, dark muddy brown with a slightly burnt orange colored head of half an inch.
S- Roasty, maybe even burnt coffee, or prunes or wood or something burnt.
T- Definitely burnt coffee and malt...lots of malt.
F- Slightly on the light side...could be just a bit thicker, but overall it works well with this beer.
O- I really like it. The name perfectly describes what you're going to get. Malty, roasty, burnt...like a dirty smudgepot at the end of a row of orange trees....
