Another beer, another Seasons. Going the coffee stout route. From a 500 ml bottle, on to the beer:
Setting up this good beer is a black bodied with impressive head and good head retention. The aroma and taste both reflect what American brewers have done with their coffee stouts. The base is roasty, and then comes a big kick of mocha and coffee flavors. It's medium/full bodied, and another well done beer which is deserving of the Seasons label.

(Served in a tulip glass)
500 ml bottle
coffee stout
33 ibus
A- This beer pours a dense opaque brown body that doesn't let any light through with a light tan creamy head that pushes up over the rim and last while sticking to the glass in sheets. There are a few tiny bubbles that appear as they reach the head.
S- The earthy coffee is doesn't have much malt support but there is some cream and berry qualities to the finish.
T- The fruity berry note gives way to a much stronger earthy roasted coffee flavor that grows as the beer opens up. There is a slight tartness in the finish but I don't think they are really hop characteristics? A cidery note comes through as the beer warms and there is a faint coffee grounds quality as the beer is really warm.
M- The medium mouthfeel has a crisp fizz in the finish.
O- There are a few odd flavors like the berry notes and cider notes but the nice coffee flavor doesn't have any oxidation notes until the very end. The tartness is not really a nice sour note like some English stouts have but more of a lemony tartness that may be from hops.
