Jan. 2016: Shared 330 ml bottle at local tasting. Very dark brown colour, cloudy, moderate beige head. Malty aroma, a hint of mild spices, not unpleasant. Malty flavour but not sweet, notes of brown bread, fairly boring. Minimal hops.

De color negro, con un dedo espumoso de color beige de retención media. Cuerpo ligero y baja carbonatación. Aroma tostado y a café. En boca es dulce, con ligeras notas amargas.

From Alcampo. In Teku glass. Reading CSHTP10 Ch2. Great surprise after the other Cibeles Ive tasted. This is tasty, well smelling, refreshing and easily drinkable. A bit overcarbonated though. Avg 3.76.
20 May 2017. From Alcampo. New label. In Ikea's pint glass. At lunch, after futsal match. With rice soup + chicken steaks with irish cheese with stout (gift from Agu) Light coffee notes, sweetness and an appropiate body. Nothing spectacular but pleasant enough. No overcarbonated this time

Samples from a 33 cl bottle bought in Madrid. Morena means Brunette in Spanish.
A - Beer is a medium to dark brown color. The clarity is not apparent because it is so dark and opaque when held up to a light. The head is initially off white and weak and quickly fades to nothing. No bubbles apparent either, so beer appears flat to the eyes when sitting still in the glass. There is a small amount of fine lacing when swirled.
S - The aromas are like an American Brown ale. There is a balanced mix of fresh grassy hops and dark malt. Brown sugar and light coffee roast aromas also.
T - Mostly dark grains, some toast and light roasted notes. Light hops flavor and bitterness. No off flavors, but not a lot of depth or complexity either.
M - Light carbonation. Moderate body. No alcohol burn. The finish is dry with a "powdery" sensation that is a bit odd.
O - An OK beer, but I'm put off by the lack of head retention and the odd "powdery" finish.
