From Club del Gourmet of El Corte Ingles El Duque. In Teku glass. Playing Game of Thrones. No unpleasant, without off-flavors and refreshing, but the dry hop is so light that becomes fairly flat, without much aroma nor taste

IPA brewed in Madrid?

Cool...

So much head, this needs to be drank in a Duvel glass.

Aroma is impressive, and very hoppy, apricotty and Duvel like. Is this really Spanish?

A bit too light, if they made it stronger it would be totally amazing. However, for a sunny Madrid day, this is my favourite Spanish beer to date...no contest! It's lightness works well in the sun...

330 ml. bottle. Orange colour with a small white head that fades soon, leaving a good lace. Smell of honey, fruits and citrus. Medium body, with a rich and creamy palate. Taste of fruits, citruses, honey, flowers. Too sweet and I'd say too bland also.

Poured from a 33 cl bottle bought at the brewery. The brewer told me it is dry hopped with US hops.

A - Color is medium gold. Maybe slightest greenish tint. Just a shade cloudy, Head is initially thick and off-white, fading to a full layer of large bubbles across the surface. The bubbles have an oily appearance.

S - The aroma is an obvious, fresh hop smell. It appears to be a citrusy "West Coast" variety, but I'm not sure which. It reminds me of grapefruit, but not in an overpowering way. Not "catty" or piney.

T - Taste is a balance between crisp, grainy bread-like malt, and fresh hops. Hops bitterness is moderate to high and the flavor is flowery and slightly citrusy. Flavors fade quickly to a dry finish. Flavors are not very complex.

M - Body is light to moderate. Hops bitterness is noticeable but not extreme. A bit of alcohol presence. Carbonation is fairly low, but some prickly bubbles are felt.

O - Overall this is a good IPA. The difference the dry hopping made compared to La Cibeles IPA is very dramatic. Without the dry hopping I found the other beer bland and generic. The dry hopping here makes the hop character jump right out and increases the complexity of the beer, although it is still not very complex.
