Very pale, very clear. White head, could linger more but ok for the style.
Light Grain aroma, sweet. Some spicey/ floral euro hop aroma, but slight fruitiness.
Good clean malt sweetness, not very complex but ok for style. Euro hop evident with some fruit hop, no ester. Light in body (good for a helles lager).
A macro type lager for the session masses to be sure, but there is nothing to hide behind in such a benign style; but little faults to hide. Head could retain better but without jeopardizing the malt flavour/colour it is hard to complain. Light in body but it is a helles.
Good interpretation of german style from antipodean brewery.

On tap at the Irish Pub in Albury.

A: Served a golden color with a decent head that fades to some lacing.

S: Aroma of what seems to be honey sweetness and grain.

T: Taste a bit of honey sweetness and hops crispness with a bit of grain in the back ground. Mild bitterness and a clean finish.

F: Fairly light body, crsip, quite smooth and refreshing. Nice balance.

O: Not a bad beer for the style. Much better than expected. Good for a few.

From notes @ Harts

Pours Pale Straw - some bubbles, little head.

Honey and corn field on nose.

Taste is kinda Macro - and sadly a bit metallic.

Mouthfeel light / standard pub feel - but then gets cloying.

Hmmmph... I'd d like to say more but there really isn't a whole lot going on. Only let down @ Harts

On tap at Harts Pub.

Pours a pale amber colour, clear and metallic with head that is slightly too thin. Dense bubbles, nice trail of lace. Bit meh, but OK.

Grainy and a bit yeasty with bread grain and mild sour character, hints of fresh-cut grass and dish detergent. Pretty bland again, nought to recommend.

Taste starts decent, with a crisp lagery tang and hint of beery esters. Gets less pleasant later, with wet bready grain and yeast and a hint of honeyed oat on the back. Bit of a crisper lager note on the back, but a slightly heavy, sunken grain note lingers. OK, but yeah, quite bland.

Thin feel, bit of fizz but not too much. Again, OK.

Very uninspiring effort here, though not unpleasant. Needs more body, and something to cover the thin grain and pump some interest into this.

16oz glass at Beer Deluxe.

Pours a true golden colour with not a lot of head. When the head is there it us white, but it isn't there long.

Smell had a little bit of honey but nothing else. Ok, but simple.

Taste gets the honey and some Euro hops imparting a little mix of herbs and fruit.

Mouthfeel is good. Body is not over the top, but not super thin either. Sessionable.

Another attempt at a macro-drinker converter from Thunder Road. It's a bit like the girl that let's you buy her drinks all night and leads you on and ultimately disappoints.
