A full-bodied, decadently smooth coffee beer in collaboration with local roaster Dark Woods. 7 different malts combine with 7 different coffees added at 3 different points during the brew to create a sweet toffee, rich fruit and chocolate depth, accented with notes of vanilla, and hazelnut. A coffee beer designed with texture, aroma and deliciousness in mind, brewed to celebrate locality and a shared philosophy in creative quality.

330 ml can, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV 5.4%. Black colour, tan head. Roast malts and coffee in the aroma. Roast malts and coffee in the flavour too, also dark chocolate. Only a slight sweetness. Some nutty hints.

On tap at Tap and Mallet in Rochester, NY.
This one pours a fairly dark black/brownish color, with a small white head, and a little bit of lacing.
This one smells like roast, smoke, very light coffee, and grassy hops.
I definitely would want a lot more coffee here - the coffee flavor itself is quite subtle. It's mostly just roasty and "creamy" flavored, with a touch of smoke and light hop character. It's called a triple coffee porter, and that seems unlikely.
This is extremely light bodied, but at least pretty drinkable. It's very thin.
I wanted to like this more than I did. The body was off and the coffee was weak.

Can. From Zombier. In Teku glass. Playing Avernum 2. 10 months after bbf. Light yet not watery. Coffee notes soft, more noticeable in nose, but not as strong as the triple coffee label suggests

Very dark brown colour. Aromas of mocha nose, a lil dry and bitter. Tastes smooth and balanced. Tastes semidry and lightly bitter. Dutch processed cocoa, mocha, lighy earthy notes, and a dark chocolate finish. Lighter than expected but full flavoured.

Pours a very dark brown coloration with a tiny, fizzy head. Smells of coffee with a hint of vanilla. Taste is overwhelmingly coffee, drowning out hints of dark fruits, vanilla and caramel. Very thin and kind of watery body making this not that great really.

L:
-pours the darkest of brown with no light coming through with a medium, foamy, beige head
S:
-coffee,vanilla,licorice,plums,tobacco,slighly sour,fresh roasted grain
T:
-licorice,coffee,plums,nutty,dark chocolate,slightly sour
F:
-low to medium carbonation
-light body
-slight alcohol noticeable
O:
I'm usually not a big fan of sour-ish Porters/Stouts, but the sourness here is understated.
The light body is def. the big drawback here, but it's a good Coffee Porter.
