Enjoyed at the 2016 Copenhagen Beer Festival in Boston, MA. Reviewed from notes.
A - Poured a nice dark brown almost black with a creamy mocha head that faded slowly to leave a nice creamy blanket and decent lacing. Nice legs.
S - Aromas of light hazelnuts and vanilla along with some muted chocolate notes. Much lighter aroma that I expected.
T - Taste though, this just explodes. Massive nutty hazelnut flavour, roasted malts, dark chocolate, really solid vanilla notes. Little bit of dark fruits. Really, really good. The flavours pop quite nicely.
M - Mouthfeel is decently carbonated, could stand to be more creamy plus there is a somewhat boozy finish.
O - Overall this was a super flavourful beer. Just loads and loads of hazelnut. Delicious.
