On tap at Hagstravaganza 4, Ballymote, Sligo.
Viscous jet; booming pecan pie; cocoa truffle, some heat, walnuts, more fudge, a slickness + slight roast; watery + boozy.

As great as it smells, doesn’t come together. Thin, hot, and this rancid nut oil thing I can’t get with. Almost like when ice cream is made with extracts instead of real fruit or nuts. Disappointing.

Keg @ King's Street Brewhouse, Bristol - Pours jet black with a small tanned foamy head. Nice lacing. Medium carbonation. Aroma - Sweet nutty notes, milk chocolate -praline, slight roasted malts. Taste - Sweet nutty forefront, milk chocolate, slight roasted malts, dry, moderate bitter finish with hints of alcoholic warmth. This is a great dessert beer. One smooth slow small sipper is enough.

Sample at Mikkeller Beer Celebration Copenhagen 2018, Red Session. Aroma has lots of nutty syrup notes, bread crust, grains and hazelnut. Taste is bittersweet, nutty, a bit artificial but well balanced.
