On cask at Cask Pub and Kitchen, London.
Pours a dark brown color with a frothy creamy tan mocha head. Excellent retention and lovely to look at.
The aroma represents a wonderful combination of traditional English porter malt blended with new world hops. The malt emits dark fruit, chocolate and biscuits, while the hops are citrusy.
The taste mostly follows the aroma. Flavors of dark fruit, plums and prune, chocolate malt, nutty and biscuity; very porter like. Yet, the American hops flavors truly set this apart with their citrusy and piny qualities.
Smooth, medium bodied with a low carb. Easy to drink with a low ABV.
Very interesting hybrid of old world and new world. So glad I got to experience it
