Poured into a becher pint glass.
The appearance was a murky pale orange to amber color with a finger's worth of white foamy head that slid off pretty quick. Sliding lace.
The aroma had some grapefruit sweetness, somewhat pulpy and then some sugars, and dosed lightly with a little bit of citrus.
The flavor was sweet all of the way through pulling in some grains to meld with the grapefruit and sugars. Aftertaste was extremely sweet.
The mouthfeel was between light and medium bodied with a decent sessionability about it depending upon how one feels their way around the sugary sweetness of this beer. Carbonation did feel fine with this. ABV also felt appropriate.
Overall, well, if you like sweet APA's, sure go for this one. Odd, given where I live, I keep thinking this seems like something Magic Hat would do. But the bottle does say Magic Rock, interesting, well, go figure.

L - Hazy amber, good white head

S - well grapefruit

T - Grapefruit + grain

F - a bit flat

O - a good session with natural grapefruit aroma and flavour but not up the alley of grapefruit sculpin in term of grapefruit addition

Pours hazy gold into a tulip from a can. The white head is two-three fingers, creamy initially then recedes to sparse froth. Lacing is sudsy and clingy.

The aroma is sweet, tropical and piney which doesn't really follow into the flavour. There's more of a bitterness and pithyness to the ale; it's unripened grapefuit, bit of lemongrass, some aromatic pine, and a lot of hops on the finish. There's is a slight caramel malt character to the beer and a nice biscuit malt aftertaste.

Mouthfeel is smooth, light bodied, crisp, and zingy with the carbonation.

Overall very nice, standard hoppy pale ale. Very bittersweet, crisp and refreshing.

Hazy golden color with white head. Aroma has lots of tropical, fruity hops and a bit of sweetness on top. Taste follows with intense hops, bright and floral with citrus fruits and also a hint of melon. Medium body and carbonation, smooth and easy to drink. Another really good beer from Magic Rock, tasty and really easy to drink.
