Copenhagen 14/2 2019. 50 cl black can from Køl Beer's webshop (kolbeer.com). Confusing, colorful can reminding of abstract art from the seventies.
Pours hazy, milky, go,den yellow with small white, bubbly head. Settles as thin, almost transparent layer foam barely covering the surface of the beer. No lacing to speak of.
Aroma is sweet, tropical and citric fresh. Sweet peach and melon. Hints of canned pears. Lighter citric odors.
Medium strong carbonation. Slightly thick, lively, prickly texture.
Flavor is medium sweet followed by a strong citric bitterness. Aftertaste is fairly bitter. Finish is dry.
An Session IPA which manages both an intense aroma and taste and a decent Hop bite.
