12oz can. Poured out a semi-opaque, dark brown with red highlights and a small, khaki-colored head of foam. It smelled of green apple, dark cherry and caramel. Big tart & sour taste with apple and cherry. Tastes like a Flanders Red Ale.

On tap at brewpub.
A. Pours a light copper color with a tight white head. Good consistency on the lacing. Very clear. Not like most sours I have seen, but pretty good.
S. Grape skin, cherries, some mild funk and a hint of cheese.
T. Follows the nose with a lot of sweet cherry, grape, some breadiness, funk, and then a pretty good kick of tartness on the finish. Wow. This is pretty impressive. Definitely has a Belgian-ish influence with the apple and pear notes. Not going to challenge the best sours out there but for a brewery in the middle of Wichita, this is very impressive.
M. The tartness is moderate but very balanced. In fact, this beer exhibits very good balance overall. It's on the sweeter side...lacks that tannic, dry bite that the best sours have, but i'm not sure i miss it. This is easy drinking.
O. A really nice American Wild from Wichita Brewing. It is light and almost refreshing...like a Berliner. Highly impressed with this offering and strongly recommend.
