12 oz can poured into North Coast tulip snifter.
Pours a honey blonde with a thin 1 finger head that stays firm at 1/4 finger. Good retention.
Aroma of gourd, canned pumpkin, toasted malts, and slight spice.
Flavor brings pumpkin pie mix from the can, followed by light cracker and white toasted bread, nutmeg, honey, grass, pretzel, and toasted malt.
Feel is medium bodied, moderate carbonation, a little starchiness on the palate, more than I'd like; some slight alcohol heat, and then some dryness.
Overall a pretty decent pumpkin ale. I'd say good to great. Nice pumpkin blonde ale. Dunno if I'd buy it again, because about 5 or 6 pumpkin beers a year/season is about all I can do anymore. Still not a bad choice if you're in Kansas looking for a pumpkin fix.

Pours a clear amber color. 1/4 inch head of an off-white color. Decent retention and good lacing. Smells of strong cinnamon, nutmeg, sweet malt, hint of pumpkin, and slight pale malt. Fits the style of a Pumpkin Beer. Mouth feel is smooth and clean, with an average carbonation level. There is a spicy acerbity. Tastes of strong cinnamon, nutmeg, sweet malt, hint of pumpkin, earthiness, caramel malt, and slight pale malt. Overall, overly spiced, lacking in pumpkin, and otherwise average.

On tap. Poured out a clear, golden orange color with a small, tan head of foam. It smelled of nutmeg, cinnamon, all spice and pumpkin. Very spiced beer with very little pumpkin sweetness.

Can bought as a single. No dating.
Pours a clear copper, good sized head of foam that shrinks quickly.
Lots of nutmeg in the smell. Caramel malt backs it up and I think that I get some butterscotch.
The taste matches the smell but I favour it over the smell. Just seems more assertive with what's going on. Not overly spiced like a good many others.
Good mouthfeel, good Pumpkin Ale.

L: Clear dark orange color. Small fizzy head.
S: As you would expect, nutmeg, clove, and cinnamon. Heavier on the nutmeg.
T: Same as the smell, but heavier on the clove this time.
F: A little thin for a pumpkin beer. Lighter carbonation.
O: A pretty good pumpkin ale. Not overly spiced, it's very approachable. I like my pumpkin ales with a little more body to them, but it's not a huge issue.

Poured into a Wichita Brewing can glass.
Look: Murky sunburnt pumpkin orange body undery a cream colored head that recedes to a healthy film. Thick random bands of lacing.
Aroma: An earthy squash/pumpkin aroma to start with delicate spices covering -- nutmeg, cinnamon.
Taste: Like the aroma, starts off very organic, squash, real pumpkin rind with spicy cinnamon following. A little bit of spicy hops/cinnamon heat in the finish.
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied. 6% ABV is felt, oddly.
Overall: I like this a lot because it combines the earthy, squashy, gourd taste with the spices. It's authentic in my eyes, and taste buds. 6% ABV kinda hits me hard though, gotta admit, not a good session beer.

Pours a glowing orange with a one finger cream color head, and looks good with the spiced rim. Aroma is pumpkin pie spices, and malt. Taste is pumpkin, light bready malt, almost crust like, and a light balancing of spices. Mouthfeel feel is thin but easy drinking. Overall, a nice light pumpkin beer.
