Another new release for the first anniversary. Draught served in a 12 oz. footed pilsner glass.
Again, a full glass with a small head of fine bubbles that soon go to a wisp with no lacing. Color is a dark amber, opaque.
Aroma was a mild hop, my nose was not up to knowing the varieties. Also a touch of malt.
Flavor was a good balance of hops with a touch of malt and just enough sweetness. Bold, but not bitter.
Mouthfeel was smooth, remained on the tongue for several minutes.
Overall a good imperial. Improve the aroma and the head and it could be great. This made a pleasant finish to my afternoon.
