Classifed as an EPA, tho Australian a la Coopers Pale.
Pours a massive three finger white fluffy head over a hazy dark straw body. Good lace.
Aromas of yeast, earthy hops, almost a salty seaweed(!)
Taste is of dull earth hops, with a zesty finish. if that sounds odd, is it. Like Coopers Pale made with English style hops. Nasty bitter astringent finish. Yeast flavour builds, as does the earthiness of the malts.
Mouthfeel is well carbonated.
Not one of HopDog's best, the dull earthy flavours at odds with zest carbonation and style. Makes you realise Coopers Pale is a difficult stlye to attempt to make a workable variation on.
