This poured out as a hazy orange color with a dominant white head on top that seems to last forever. The smell of the beer is malty, some wheat on the nose. Some light caramel and vanilla sweetness. The taste is along the same lines as the nose. Sweet malt and some subtle bitterness in the finish. The mouthfeel is very carbonated, probably too much. Very sharp on the tongue. Overall this beer is good just too dry in the finish. Definitely fun to try here in the states though.

Hazy golden colour with a foamy white head. Good head retention.

Lovely tart wheat aroma. Some alcohol. Fruity yeast notes. Straightforward but delicious.

A well rounded wheat ale with an intense orange and light banana note. Some nice spice notes. Interesting.

Medium body with moderately-high carbonation. A little too fizzy.

A really solid Wheatwine. No special flavours here but just solid, well built beer.

Pours murky brown/amber with a large, lasting head.
Nose shows doughy wheat, hefty malt and caramel, and soft spicy hops.
Flavours are note quite on the same level, with distracting doughy yeast, soft cider notes, and sharp, solvent-like alcohol. There's some sweet malt but the rest is fairly off-putting.
Way too much carbonation.

Bottled June 12. From Platinum.

Pours a cloudy dark gold, plenty of bits floating around. Thin head dies quickly, but spotty lace on swirl. Lots of dark grey sediment.

Aromas of alcohol, hint of brown sugar, and some hops in background. Cirtus in the mix. but not dominating. Not getting the hit of hops I would expect on nose.

Taste is big but not overpowering. The wheat element gives a subtle hint of banana, and hops finish off in a rounded manner. Alcohol warms and almost takes over - not quite tho. As the beer warms a substantial hit of aricot comes thru, very nice.

Mouthfeel spot on, medium bodied, lightly carbed.

A solid well made Big Beer, but given the ABV maybe not the monster it could have been? Unsure of the way the flavour alters as it warms, the bottle says serve at 8 deg, but given the big beer, it's a slow drink and warmed much more than that by end... might be worth a 4 deg open and see?
