On draft at the brewery.
Poured a deep brown hue with a two finger frothy white head. There was good retention and very good sticky lacing.
The smell featured a light caramel and a moderate noble hop spice.
The taste offered soft roasted malts, a slightly earthy sweetness and a balancing hop spice. Good residual hop spice.
The mouthfeel was typical of the style.
Overall a very tasty and quaffable black lager.
