Poured a dark beautiful deep ruby/brown color. Head was nice but left quick and did not leave much lacing.
Aroma was a little weak of sweet malt.
Taste was very good. Mild sweet raisin, hint of smoke or over roasted taste, nice mix of malt and hops. Crisp clean finish. I would say it is like a cross between a doublebock, and a lager. It has a mild doublebock taste but with some different tastes.
Mouthfeel was slightly heavy, and filling.
Drinkability, if I had more time, I would have had another one or two. Different yet good.
