Fresh filled growler served in a standard pint glass.
Black color with a short-lived light brown head.
The smell is very good, roasted coffee, chocolate and a hint of chocolate licorice.
Taste is good, roasted coffee and cocoa beans with a bitter espresso finish.
Medium bodied with a semi-creamy feel.
Goes down smooth and easy.

I had this brew at the pub on the way back from SOuthampton. The brew came chilled in a mug. It was super dark brown with ruby tints when held to the light. The head was tan and creamy but faded to a surface layer fairly quickly. Aroma was nice mix of rich roasted malt with some sweet notes of burnt sugar sweetened coffee. the body was very thick and creamy. Carbonation is low and the brew is easy to drink. The flavor is nice and roasty with sugary undertones and actually similar to a coffee with cream and sugar. Quite a tasty brew.
