Appearance: Clear Dark Brow...with nice dark tan head
Aroma: Beautiful smokey wood...
Taste...Slight bitter at first, VERY smokey...the smokiest smoked beer I have ever tasted...had a mild coffee flavor...It would have scored higher if the smoke balanced more with a typical porter taste...however pleasant the smoke was it was overpowering
Drinkability...unbelievable...before i knew it i had finished my big mug in no time flat...
I will definately pick up a growler or two while this is still available

Appearance: Dark brown-red with tan head that laced really well.
Smell: Slight caramel aroma.
Taste: Roasted caramel and malt up front. Strong smoke flavor comes in next. Fruity sweetness also follows, along with hop bitterness. Nutty aftertaste. Smokiness is not overpowering and the other flavors are able to come through.
Mouthfeel: Chewy with slight carbonation.
Drinkability: Not too heavy. I can and will have many more of these.
Comments: Quite enjoyable. Yet another winner from Black Forest.
