Poured a murky burnt orange hue with a two finger foamy white head. There was good retention and very good sticky lacing.
The smell featured earthy piney hops atop a burnt caramel.
The taste offered an upfront balmy hop with notes of pine and pepper, followed by a full toasted crystal malt. Long sweetness muddled the experience.
The mouthfeel was full for the style and coated thr palate. There was a lingering bitterness.
Overall a tasty brawny IPA.
