This is a local restaurant with a bar as well. Serving as a local gathering place for drinks or dinner. It serves both tradional Slovenian fare and pizza. Seating inside and outside as well.
The building itself has been in use for over a hundred years. Its been a restaurant, shoe factory and other businesses as well. The decor is eclectic.
The location also brews its own beer that is served as a 3 liter tap at your table. A svetlo (light) and temno (dark). They distribute to some of the local restaurants and you can get 1.5l plastic bottles to go.
The head brewer has a background in chemistry and the beer is of his own design. I was able to get a tour while there, a small production in the back of the restaurant. They fill some kegs for distribution.
It was a nice location and worth a visit if you are travelling thru the area. Easy on and off the highway if you are heading thru Slovenia.
