Near black pour, small beige head. Dark maltiness. Barrel aging adds some character to this, some tartness. Black, aroma of wood, dried fruit. Overall very complex.

Draught served in a tulip.
Body is dark, dark brown. Head a medium tan that left minimal lacing.
Aroma - Coconut, mango with a hint of cocoa.
Taste - Coconut, mango. I hope you like mango.
Mouthfeel - Medium body, with a sweetness that coats the tongue and sticks. Definite alcohol presence.
Overall - A good, solid beer. I could not associate the name to anything but the color of black. Remind me to not order mango beer.

Whatever Odell was trying to do with this beer probably happened. It's a taste journey Magellan would've envied. The kind of beer that really circumnavigates your palate.
