Gramps pours an almost black color with a small lacing head. There is a very sweet and spicy aroma. The taste is also sweeter, but big spices, almost a sour tone to it. Good body good feel. Overall its unique, the bold spice notes are a bit funky.

One of my favorite new beers from Odell.

Great taste that improves as it warms. The only complaint I have is with the carbonation.. its a little off. Doesn't ever stop me from drinking it though!

Appearance: Very dark brown, nearly black, with ruby highlights. Thick head of tan foam, and a lovely bouquet of intricate lace.

Aroma: Dark chocolate and coffee appear immediately, with some charred wood. Very nice!

Taste: Dark chocolate most prominent, with charred malts bubbling just under. Very smooth and tasty on a cold night, this is a fine oatmeal stout, no doubt.
