I toured the Odell Brewery with brewmaster/owner Doug Odell personally doing the honors. If you get to Fort Collins, it is worth your time. A beautifully set up, organized and well-run first class operation! Bins full of imported English malts, a huge variety of hops and all the bells and whistles. They have just added this new lovely red ale they are trying out in the tasting room. It has been so popular I predict will go into production soon. Appearance is a lovely red copper with good foam and lacing. Aroma has notes of apples and hazelnuts with a hint of spice. Body is medium, carbonation good. Initial taste is of apple peel, dry hops, malt and a miniscule amount of cinnamon. Smooth middle and nice dry nut-like finish. Very nice.
