i swear this had mangoes in it, either i was dreaming or drunk, or they did a special edition of it where there is actually fruit, perhaps its just the hops giving off such a tropical juiciness in here, but i could swear this said mango on it when i had it, is there more than one version of this? someone let me know. the aroma of the hops is amazing here, in addition to obvious mango character, from fruit or hops i dont know, i get ripe pineapple, orange, and spicy woodsy northwestern bite, its a cool combination of new and old school in terms of hop characteristics, and the flavor is similar. orange for sure in here, a little sweetness to it, some oils from the wet hops, and some greenness too thats awesome with the pine that comes on later, the freshness is so apparent in this. its juicy as they come, a little sticky with the wet hop texture, but amazingly drinkable, bright, and lively, not too much malt in here, keeps the beer light compared to some others. the pale types with wet hops have seemed tame and underwhelming this year more than ever compared to their ipa counterparts, but not this one. i know they do an ipa too here, i hope i have the right beer. im sure it had mangoes in it! in any event, this is among the highlights of wet hop season for me.
