Living in landlocked Colorado, we often dream of a tropical beach and a warm ocean breeze. That dream has inspired our newest Cellar Series offering, Onolicious. A blend of tropical fruits creates an intricate flavor profile with powerful aromas of passionfruit and mango, while funky tart notes of ripe guava and sweet tamarind round out the shape of this deeply complex sour ale. Sit back, relax, and enjoy.

12 oz bottle from Jake. Light hazy pour, pinkish, small foamy head. Aroma is stone fruit, not quite tart or sour. Taste continues the peachy, stone fruit flavors, some dessert vanilla in there too. Smooth.

12oz bottle poured into Three Philosophers wine glass. Cellar Series 2018. Picked up from the liquor store a few weeks back, not sure now much I got it for.
Appearance - Pours small white head with decent retention , weak lacing and no stick. 4
Smell - Can't really smell much. 3.75
Taste - Tastes like a sour beer lol. No off notes. Very acidic and citrusy. 4.5
Mouthfeel - Medium bodied, but feels light and refreshing due to the flavor profile and the slight, but reactive efference. 4.5
Overall - Delicious. Would have again, though it's retired so probably not. Sessionable. Interesting. 4.5

Got in a trade with The-Adjunct-Hippie. 12 ounce bottle into tulip glass, 2018 vintage. Pours very hazy/cloudy deep golden/orange/amber color with a 1 finger fairly dense and fluffy off white head with poor retention, that reduces to a minimal ring of lace. Minimal spotty lacing, some clinging bubbles on the glass and streaming carbonation. Aromas of big juicy/sour/tart/tangy passion fruit, mango, pink guava, skin/seed, lemon, lime, orange, citrus peel/zest, peach, pear, melon, apricot, red/green apple, white grape/wine, hay, straw, grass, wheat, cracker, white bread, light peppercorn/lacto funk, and yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of passion fruit, mango, guava, tamarind, fruity/acidic yeast, and moderate pale/wheat malt notes; with big strength. Taste of big juicy/sour/tart/tangy passion fruit, mango, pink guava, skin/seed, lemon, lime, orange, citrus peel/zest, peach, pear, melon, apricot, red/green apple, white grape/wine, hay, straw, grass, wheat, cracker, white bread, light peppercorn/lacto funk, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate fruity/lactic tart/sourness, fruit tang, and light spiciness on the finish. Lingering notes of sour/tart/tangy passion fruit, mango, pink guava, skin/seed, lemon, lime, orange, citrus peel/zest, peach, pear, melon, apricot, red/green apple, white grape/wine, hay, straw, grass, wheat, cracker, white bread, light peppercorn/lacto funk, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of passion fruit, mango, guava, tamarind, fruity/acidic yeast, and moderate pale/wheat malt flavors; with a great malt/tart/sourness, and tangy fruit balance; with no puckering flavors after the finish. Fairly crisp/clean finishing. Moderate increasing dryness from lingering tart/sourness, tangy fruit, and carbonation. Medium-plus carbonation and medium body; with a very smooth, moderately bready/grainy, and acidic/tangy/tannic balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol for 6.5%. Overall this is an awesome fruited kettle sour. All around awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of passion fruit, mango, guava, tamarind, fruity/acidic yeast, and moderate pale/wheat malt flavors; very smooth and fairly crisp/clean/refreshing to drink, with the modestly acidic/tangy/tannic/drying finish; not overly lactic. Perfectly balanced between juicy/jammy tropical fruits and Lacto complexity; with a nice pale/wheat malt backbone against acidity. Zero residual sweetness with crisp acidic/tangy dryness. A really enjoyable offering, and impressive style example.

Pours a clear maize color. 1/4 inch head of an off-white color. Poor retention and poor lacing. Smells of citrus, bacterial funk, lactic acid, slight sweet malt, slight pale malt, and a hint of citrus hops. Fits the style of an American Wild Ale. Mouth feel is sharp and crisp, with an average carbonation level. There is a strong tartness and slight bitterness. Tastes of citrus, bacterial funk, lactic acid, slight pale malt, and a hint of citrus hops. Overall, simple, but great body, blend, and aroma.

Tons of tropical fruit like guava, pineapple, and mango, plus some lemon and nectarine that has been oak soured. Has acidic bite to go with hazy fruit and some light brett. Smell is sour pineapple and guava to the max. Very sour, next texture from the yeast

12oz bottle. Poured out a slightly hazy, golden orange color with almost no head. It smelled of tropical fruits, sour lemon and sweet caramel. Big sour flavor punch with tart tropical fruits and a hint of caramel sweetness.
