count on odell to absolutely nail this, which they did. as a maker of classic ipa types, awesome doubles, this new fresh grind thing, killer black ipa, i expected this to be great, and it is, one of the best in its field i have had in some time, and where so many of them are starting to all taste the same, this one really stands out. maybe some equinox hops, maybe amarillo, maybe both and maybe many more in it, there is a lot of cool hops to this, and its way more than the classic citra and mosaic complexion, which so many seem to employ. its tropical but not cloyingly fruity, and its hugely dry hopped without being green or vegetal or bitey and harsh, its just so professional and dialed. the nose makes my mouth water, with meyer lemon and lemongrass, melon, and even a hint of fresh coconut. the flavor carries most of that, white strawberry too, some heady weed, and a fresh squeezed orange juice component. its complex, but its not too much to make it any less than insanely drinkable. great carbonation and a real light body. i like how refined it is too, not gross and thick from the tap, just a little unfiltered look to it and a muted vibe overall, understated but super fresh, unique, and as classy and excellent as all the hoppy stuff from odell always is. this is a home run. deserves better scores than it has here, but its still new. time will show that this is on the higher end of the hazy spectrum in terms of overall quality!

Aroma is bright citrus/orange and dank/spicy hops. The flavor is citrus/orange, malts, very mild earthiness, grapefruit/tropical fruit and a hoppy/slightly sweet finish.

Cloudy and smell is pleasantly hoppy with fruity aromas. Hop flavor not as present in the taste; fairly low on bitterness.

12oz bottle from a new mixed 12er. Super hazy, yellow-orange., good lacing. Pineapple and mango in the aroma. Flavor is fine, more tropical fruit but not amazing. This is a decent beer but I would not buy a sixer of this.
