Know your Hop Farmer. That's what we believe. Wolf Picker, named after the classic hop harvesting rig, celebrates our decades-long relationships with hop farmers, and our obsession with new talent in the world of experimental hops. This year, we're featuring the newcomer known as Strata which brings notes of grapefruit, peach and mango to an IPA unlike anything we've released.

12 oz can from Hops & Bottles. Medium, hazy golden, fizzy head. Aroma features a light melon scent, citrus. Taste mirrors the aroma, more melon, light, disappears all too quickly.

Pours that yellow and golden color familiar to most of the world as 'beer'. 1/2" white head on the top, mild clarity.
Strata was 2019's darling and the nose here proved up why. Varied notes of grapefruit, gooseberry, guava, pine, mint. Smells nice.
Taste was another winner too just like the previous iterations of Wolf Picker with different hops. Inoffensive, light, neutral malt body allowed the Strata hop to shine, seemingly doing equally well as an aroma hop as it did as a bittering hop. You can practically pick a bunch of words out of the hop word bank and they could arguably apply here. For me, the degree of stone fruit and mint seemed higher than any other hop variety I've had. Carbonation fine and light mouth feel all around.
You can do a lot worse than a 6 pack of this for $10. I'm telling you, my resolution for 2022 is going to try and have 90% of my beer purchases from the grocery store, no more rare bs, just goodness on the shelf.

12oz can. Poured out a clear, golden color with a small, off-white head of foam. It smelled of peach, grapefruit and citrus. Sweet tropical fruit taste with a toasted caramel backbone.

I am loving the Strata hops here!
Poured from a can into a tulip glass. Clear yellow color with nice head and lacing. Wonderful smell! Grapefruit! Flavors of grapefruit, pineapple, and peach. Very flavorful and enjoyable!
