On draught at Old Chicago.
Pours a brilliantly clear pale gold, leaves good lacing under the finger of foam.
Smells grainy, bready, the hops impart an aspirin like bitterness.
Taste is not to my liking. Too grainy and earthy, hops are rather unpleasant. Sweeter notes moving in and doesn't help.
A rare miss from Odell.

Served on tap in a pint glass
Appearance – The beer is served a clear golden color with a one finger head of pure white foam. The head has a great level of retension, slowly fading over time to leave a ton of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma of the brew is heaviest of a very cereal grainy smell and some lightly toasted bread. Other aromas of caramel and a little bit of a grassy and herbal hops smells are there as well, producing a quite sweet cereal smell overall.
Taste – The taste begins with a quite sweet caramel taste that is backed by a whole lot of bread and dough. The caramel sweetness grows more and more intense as the taste advances all while there is a little bit of a grainy taste that takes the place of some of the dough. Some very subtle citrus and grass tastes develop throughout, and end up leaving one with a sweet and cereal grain taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is on the slightly thicker side for a pilsner with a carbonation level that is average. A little lighter thickness may have been slightly better, but overall the feel was decent.
Overall – A rather sweet and slightly thick pilsner. OK, but a little too sweet and heavy for me.
