Sampled at Odell in Fort Collins on 4/25/09, reviewed from notes
A-Medium to dark brown color, 1/2 inch bubbly off white head that disappeared almost immediately, no retention or lacing
S-Caramel, light toffe, some roasted accents, brown sugar, biscuit, and almonds
T-Some caramel and brown sugar at first, molasses and nuts in the middle, slight toffee sweetness in the finish, lots of malt, got sweeter as it warmed, chewiness went away after a few minutes
M-Chewy, nutty, and chewy mouthfeel, thin bodied for its style, moderate level of carbonation, taste does not linger
D-Slightly filling, little alcohol showing through but the staff said it was a bit low anyways, could have drank a little more of this but not much
This beer was one of their seasonal offerings, so I figured I would give it a try, it was one of my least favorite from them but still not too bad, would skip next time I was there though, might be worth trying
