Pours amber to copper with a tan head.
Smells of creamy, biscuity malt with a slightly metallic twinge that is not particularly great.
The biscuit/bread flavor hits up front with a general sweetness and noble hop finish.
Medium and creamy body and carbonation.
This beer has a fantastic nutty flavor and is sweet but nowhere near cloying. It is bready and hoppy...quite a nice beer.

Served on-tap at Choice City into a branded fluted glass.
Redish brown color with good, but not perfect, clarity. The head settles quickly with minimal lacing.
Aroma is sweet and malty with a nice oaky character.
The flavor is familiar to those who enjoy the standard 90 shilling but with the added benefit of vanilla from the oak barrels.
Mouthfeel is medium bodied and the carbonation is just right. Balance is perfect too. It's easy drinking but complex which is really a great combination.
Overall an improvement on an already great beer. I hope they do this one again.
