While at the brewery today I picked up a growler of the Maibock. While pondering the decision another patron of the brewery complimented the staff on the beer so I filled the jug blind. I didn't note the ABV.
A - Poured from the growler to a pilsner glass. The beer pours an orange amber translucent color with a huge 3 finger white fluffy bubbly head. Outstanding retention, my wife's lasted 30 minutes, and great lacing. Very impressive.
S - The aroma is a mild blend of some toasted bready/biscuity malt with floral and spicy hops well in the background. Not powerful but for the style is quite nice.
T - The flavor is very much as expected from the nose with the bready malt playing nicely with the floral, spicy hops. There is no real sign of the alcohol here except possibly in some of the sweetness early on in the sip. A nice blend of toasted bread with a mild bitterness.
M - Light bodied and well carbonated. Crisp and clean.
O - One of the best Maibock's I've had. Admittedly it's not my favorite style but this beer is extremeley drinkable and enjoyable. I could drink this all day. Very good, highly recommended.

Pours a rich, deep and bright-but kinda dark-brown. Clean. Head filled up to about 1 1/2 fingers of off whiteness.
Aroma is a bit dank. Nuttiness and baked caramel. Some snappy spice. Undertow of bread--doughy.
Two main flavors emerge. That of the somewhat dark and wet bread. And nuttiness. These play off one another quite well and with the addition of some spicy hops, this is a rich yet somewhat calm beer. A slight aftertaste of 'husk' or something like that, but overall this is a nice beer.
