Picked up a growler of "Captain O'Merica" at the brewery yesterday. A beer I hadn't heard of so I sampled it and bought a growler. The gentleman at the brewery said it was "an easy drinking pale ale." Sounded good.
A - Poured from growler to pint glass. The beer pours a translucent golden light amber color with a good 1 1/2 finger white bubbly head with decent retention and lacing.
S - A nice mix of light toasted malt with a fair blend of aromatic earthy hop tones. The aroma is very well balanced.
T - The beer starts with a nice bread/biscuit toasted malt character. Mild and not overpowering at all. A mild bitterness meets a fair malt sweetness. The hop character isn't dominant, rather well meshed with the bready character. Very easy to drink indeed. Crisp and clean.
M - Light bodied and good carbonation.
O - A very easy to drink Pale Ale. I really enjoyed it. I could drink this beer all day. Very good balance. I really enjoyed this beer.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
