12oz can. Poured out a clear, golden orange color with a small, white head of foam. It left sudsy lacing on the glass. It smelled of pine, orange and grapefruit. Sweet fruity taste with toasted caramel and a piney bite.

Aroma is big citrus/orange and a hint of piney hops/syrup sweetness. The flavor is big citrus, malts and a spicy hop/big orange/grapefruit peel finish.

Pours an effervescent & bright gold/honey with a thumb of cream-colored head. Above average head retention & lacing
S: Green Melon, grassyness, a kittle tangerine & peach once warmed up
T: Green melon, some nectarine, dryness, some tangerine up front. Green melon, nectarine & a little pineapple whip once this beer is warmed up. Finishes with pineapple, nectarine, green melon & some citrus notes
MF: Medium body, subtle carbonation, nice balance
Drinks pretty easy, solid offering, no clue as when this was canned

12oz can from Brewers Haven. Hazy, orange golden pour, small frothy white head. Light citrusy aroma. Wait a minute, it says West Coast on the can? Taste is stone fruit with mild bitterness. I'm confused. All the trappings of a NEIPA labelled as West Coast.

12oz can. With a guess, the bottom lip stamp is '02/12/24'.
Slightly cloudy, with a pale gold colored body. One finger of off white head, which develops to a thin cap and high ring. Leaves behind spots, short strings, and small webs of lacing.
Aroma of sweet tangerine citrus and pine. Deep hops with some toasted malts.
Taste has the flavors of tangerine and orange citrus, along with a biting pine bitterness. Sweet citrus but gets a lot of citrus pith bitterness on the way out. Still has a sweet citrus note in the aftertaste.
More than medium mouth feel. The mouth gets tight and tugged, with alcohol dryness. Good carbonation.
Well done higher ABV% IPA with lots of citrus/pine sweetness and bite. The taste system gets a workout.

Pours crystal clear medium gold. Lighter than anticipated. Decent head but fast-fading. Good lacing.
Aromas of orange, grapefruit and resin. Maybe a bit of phenol, which was not expected.
Modest citrus flavor melds with solid honey-kissed malt sweetness. The faintest hint of old-school diesel in mid-stream. Excellent resin blast at the finish. I almost thought it was fusel for a millisecond, but then realized it was the hop bite.
There is warming but not burning booze on the tongue and back of the throat with this one. Unexpectedly drying at the finish. Like the color, it's lighter-bodied than expected for a IPA and a half or DIPA, and pleasantly so.
This isn't a true WCIPA in the strict sense, but it still delivers a slightly-subdued supply of all of the things that one would expect. I almost wonder if a lower-ABV version at 6%-6.5% would have a little less malt and a little more bite to skew things to the bitter end of the continuum. As is, a very approachable take on the sub-style.

Having a strong malt flavor keeps the hops from making it too bitter or one-dimensional and really brings out the orange/tangerine flavors. Really tasty
