this is great, as good as the original or close to it, pretty honest and robust blackberry character, clean and well restrained souring, a pretty color, and the salt is a neat touch, this bitchslaps a lot of other fruited kettle sours, its light and clean and even refreshing, super drinkable, love the extra high carbonation too, very intentional and well refined in a style that has a lot of mediocre quality beers in it. a nice stained glass looking light purple or pinkish tone, neither real clear nor real hazy, and with large bubbles, a short but not absent head, and a backlit glow, visually appealing for sure, although i have seen pictures of more muted and murky pours of this, mine was beautiful, but i could see some inconsistency possible with real fruit. the nose is obviously fruited but i think blackberry is a fruit without a very powerful aroma, so there is a touch of sweet, but its the cleanness of the lactic souring and its light lemon character that makes more of an impression here, only lightly grainy but enough to keep it from just being juice, something i like about the original too, although with the simplicity here its even more apparent. i also get the minerality from the salt, its brisk and tidy, almost a lager quickness about it. the taste is great, and because the nose is so minimal the fruit really hits, juicy and ripe and real, high summer goodness, not as sweet as the fruit itself can be, slightly vinous to me here too, tannic and tangy contributions too which marry into the base sour awfully well, salt makes it pop, mild but drying, mostly later on, but its a key part of this and quite smart, this almost seems hydrating and healthy because of it. the fruit presents as really natural, its well dosed, and its not bogged down by being paired with other more distinctive fruits as is so often the case, its nice on its own, again the simplicity is a big key to success here. the high carbonation and dry finish are awesome, the tartness isnt so much i cant crush a bunch of these, easier on the stomach than most, so clean. the low alcohol rules too. this is one of their best iterations of this, and i look forward to drinking my share! technical excellence on display whether you like the style or not, this is great.
edit: every bit as impressive the second time around, this is one of the best packaged beers in this style space available anywhere right now, absolutely dialed in, love it! grossly underrated.

Poured from 330ml stubby.instant foamy blackberry visually and on nose. Taste is sweet, then tart without ever descending to bitterness. The salt is a subtle and necessary touch. Nice delicately balanced flavours and refreshing, crisp feel. Really lovely sour.

Good balanced flavor. Tart, but not excessive with a lil bit of salt that makes it finish more like a gose. One of my favorites from the sipping line!

Cloudy pinkish color with traces of blue around the edges and a modest off white head.
The aroma is mild blackberry, light malt and a hint of sea salt.
The taste is slightly tart blackberries, light caramel malt, a touch of lemon and sea salt, very nice. The body is light/medium, crisp but smooth and very drinkable,
Altogether, this is a very enjoyable summer cooler, great for most summer activities, including hanging out at a beach.

12oz can. Poured out a clear, pinkish color with purple highlights and a small, khaki-colored head of foam. It smelled of tart blackberry, sea salt, caramel and lemon. Tart blackberry with a sweet punch. Nice saltiness.
