Pours a clear, copper / amber color. 1/5 inch head of an off-white color. Slight retention and slight lacing. Smells of fresh sweet malt, slight wheat, and slight hop. Fits the style of a Marzen / Oktoberfest. Mouth feel is smooth and clean, with an average carbonation level. Tastes of sweet malt, citrus hops, hops, hint of pale malt, and hint of wheat. Overall, the combination of the fresh smelling malt and citrus tastes make for an interesting, but good Oktoberfest.

A friend picked up a growler from the brewery, nice surprise. Dark red color, smells like bread and sweet malts. Flavor is like cherry, fruit, malts but is not quite what I would expect from a traditional Oktoberfest beer. Still, very interesting beer and one I'm glad to have had a chance to try.
