This was a special version of the Bourbon Barrel Stout. It was a cask version with coffee and cocoa nibs.

Pours a light fizzy tan head. Color is a dark murky brown. Not the most appealing of stouts.

Aroma: Huge espresso! This is awesome. Chocolate, bourbon, oak, vanilla, and cocoa. Creamy.

Taste: Bourbon with a lot of heat. A bit of an alcohol kick to it. Chocolate and cocoa. A lot of coffee and espresso flavors.

Mouthfeel: Creamy and roasty. Low carbonation with a low to medium bodied.

Overall, its a good beer, but the appearance and mouthfeel really drop this beer down. It was a treat, but this version needs a little bit of work.
