Brewed with homegrown Colorado corn, this Mexican-style Lager glides smooth and easy, with a touch of sweetness and a refreshing finish. Light in body, bold in spirit--it's a crisp reminder that even the most nuanced beers can soar.

Clear, golden color; sparse carbonation; fairly thin head, white and soapy, long-lasting; a few streaks of foam across the glass. Pleasant yet faint smell; a bit of toasted corn. Decent American adjunct lager taste; corn and toasted cereal grain; mineral notes; not overly sweet with a respectable offsetting bitterness; clean. Medium body; smooth.
I expected more from an Odell beer, especially with the appearance. Otherwise, there is not much to distinguish this beer from so many other American adjunct lagers. Easy drinking but nothing very distinctive about the beer.
ABV: 4.7%; pouring temperature: 47.9 °F; canning info: ??/14/25

Bought locally.
Pours a clear pale gold with over a finger of foam that sticks around. Some lacing.
The smell is corn, some caramel malt, slight hops presence.
The taste is grainy with big notes of corn, somewhat sweet but does have a light bitter side note.
Fairly light bodied, reasonably good taste, I would not, however, drink this again.

Aroma is fruit, mild sweetness and huge corn/adjuncts. The flavor is fruit/small hint of bubblegum and a medium sweet corn/adjunct/spicy noble hop finish.

Appearance? Crystal clear light-gold--darker than the straw color one might assume from this style. A small white head is generated--dies down after a few minutes, though the retention is also longer than what one might expect.
Smells like sweet corn; hints of hops, grass, crisp cracker malt, grilled sweet corn, hint of lemon zest.
Caramelized sugar hits the tongue immediately; grilled sweet corn, wheat cracker, lemon zest, lemon candy, fresh green grass, brief linger of sweetness, crisp clean finish.
Medium-light feel; well-carbonated, not really water, great mouth feel for the style.
Excellent beer. I've nearly crushed the whole six-pack already!
