Odell's Alpenglow Lavender IPA pours a hazy, golden peach color and is capped by a creamy egg-shell colored head that has good retention. Very floral hoppy aromas are underlined by a slight breadiness and subtle lavender notes. Extremely well balanced, floral and piney hop flavors dominate out front before the bready malt flavors smooth it all out and create a substantial backbone. Alpenglow is medium-light and body, with a moderate level of carbonation. We have mentioned it before, but no one in Fort Collins can utilize the hop like Odell Brewing Company.
