First day living up in Fort Collins so of course I had to stop by Odell and pick up a couple growlers. This Chocolate Oar, a chocolate stout, being one of them.
Pours black with a thick, foamy brown head. Nice lacing. A deep, rich aroma of thick dark chocolate. Very good, though one dimensional. A huge dark, creamy, roasty chocolate flavor, HUGE. A full, creamy body. Overall, this beer is damn good. Probably the best chocolate stout I have yet to try.
