A pilot release at their taproom, and not one of their better ones, IMO.
It pours black with just about no head. Aroma is roasty with some milk chocolate and maybe a little brown sugar in there. Flavor is pretty much the same. A kinda creamy, medium bodied mouthfeel. Overall, this one was a miss. It offers a nice milk chocolate presence, kinda reminiscent of the chocolate flavor of Lugene (albeit in a majorly toned down manner), but that was really all that was okay about this one. I wouldn't drink this again.
